Restrictions on liquids for carry-on bags:
Your carry-on bag can only contain ONE plastic bag with gels, liquids, and aerosols that do not exceed the maximum of 1 litre all together. The plastic bag has to be clear, closed, and re-sealable. We advise that only travel size items are put in your carry-on bag. There are NO size restrictions for liquids and gels packed in checked baggage.

During your flight to Toronto, you will be given a Declaration Card which everyone is required to fill out. In capital letters, print your name and address in Part A. Your airline/flight number can be found on your ticket. Under Purpose of Trip, put a check mark besides ‘Personal’, NOT ‘academic’. Refer to the sample declaration card for check marks. Ask the flight attendant for any questions that you may have.
Once you land, you will be directed to Customs and Immigration where an officer will ask for your passport and declaration card. If he/she asks why you have come to Toronto, simply state that you are here for a two-week summer camp. If he/she asks you where you will be staying, give him/her the following address: 1775 Lawrence Avenue East Scarborough, Ontario M1R 2X7 and phone number 416-299-0111.
When you come out through the gate, P.U.L.S.E. representatives will be wearing there to greet you. They will be wearing P.U.L.S.E. t-shirts. Campers can exchange money at the airport, although we highly encourage you to do this before the start of your trip. The recommended amount of personal allowance is $200-$250 CAD as campers may wish to purchase snacks and/or souvenirs at their own discretion. Please also bring an additional $50 for entry to Canada's Wonderland. This will collected by the P.U.L.S.E. staff upon arrival.
COMMUNICATION & WI-FI
Once campers have arrived, parents/guardians will receive a notification via WhatsApp or email. Please make sure you have downloaded the appropriate application and provided us with the correct phone number for easy communication.
There is free wi-fi at Toronto Pearson International Airport but limited wi-fi available for the first week of camp. Campers will have access to free wi-fi during their trip to Ottawa and at their student residence during the second week of camp.
